And he walks with me and he talks with me... I know these words may remind us of an old, rustic church somewhere with a bunch of lifetime choir members belting out the melody just a little off key from the piano, but stop and think about this for a minute. Not only do they love Jesus, but they sing out to him joyfully, and freely. God wants us to walk with him freely and without reservation, joyfully shouting and praising his name as well as being humble and quiet before him. We all have our levels of outward emotion and we need to know that our particular level is good and pleasing to God as long as our heart is in the right place. Some will yell, some may just pray quietly, and let's thank God that we are all different! Let God take over your soul and your prayer life. Pray freely and listen as the Spirit speaks to you though the Scriptures, and through your heart. Pray on!
