Dear church family,
I send you warm greetings from Mongolia. Warm because it has been warmer here then usual although not the stifling heat that we get in Florida during the summer.
Thank you for your prayers for the work here. God has blessed us in many ways already. He has provided for a building which Teen Missions will eventually use for the training of Mongolian young adults for ministry here in Mongolia. The building will also be used at times for a retreat for children with leukemia and their parents that have very little opportunity to be anywhere but home. This will be done in the form of a supervised camp. Camps like this and like the Boot Camp we will be running this summer provide avenues of sharing Christ that otherwise would be illegal in this country.
God has also blessed in providing the proper permit to be issued so we can have Boot Camp this year. This is a process that we must go through every year and are never sure that it will actually get issued.
Cheryl will arrive here on July 8th along with the American teens who will help to run the Boot Camp this year. They will also work on preparing the building for it's future use. This will involve digging a pit toilet and putting a security fence around the property.
Please continue to pray for our water supply here. Water can be very hard to get in some communities. Pray also for more Mongolian leaders to lead our Mongolian teens. As of today we are still 2 leaders short.
Thanks again for your prayers. Looking forward to reporting on more of how God is working here in Mongolia.
In Christ's love,
Dave
