About New Life Church

New Life Church is a community of caring people who have discovered that true fulfillment in life is found in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is through knowing Him that our lives can have meaning and purpose.
At New Life Church we believe that the answers to life's questions are found in God's Word, the Bible. Because it is God's Word, the Bible is our only infallible authority regarding what we are to believe and how we are to live.
The Bible teaches us that men and women were created in the image of God, giving us dignity. Humanity, however, rebelled against God by breaking His law. Because of this rebellion, fellowship with God was broken.
God is a loving God who desires to have fellowship with His people, but He is also just and holy, which means He cannot let sin go unpunished. So God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to become a man and live a perfect life. Then He died on the cross to pay the penalty of sin for His people. It is through trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord that fellowship with God can be restored.

New Life Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

- It's a Fresh Start.
Many of us wish we had the opportunity to make a fresh start - to discover a place where we are accepted and can develop and grow. Perhaps you went to church in the past and have gotten out of the habit. If God is prompting you to come back to His church again, New Life Church is ready to assist you in your fresh start. You'll find many other people just like yourself who are discovering what God says in His Word and are growing.
- Warmth.
We love each other here and we will love you too! We believe the church should be a place of haven - of peace and harmony-to be strengthened and uplifted. It should be a place where genuine friendships develop naturally over time. You will find people here just like you and perhaps develop new friendships to encourage and support you as an individual or a family.
- Conviction.
Whereas many aspects of daily living are open to interpretation, we hold certain truths to be non-negotiable, historical truths that have been held precious by genuine believers through all ages. We unashamedly declare our commitment to the Scriptures as the Word of God. It has been said: "Being enslaved to a compass will give you the freedom of the seas." God's Word, when we look to it and embrace its Truth, indeed gives us true joy and freedom to navigate through all trials and circumstances that come our way in life.
- We're Relevant.
Our church was designed to meet the needs of today. We have planned an atmosphere in which you will feel free to come and even invite friends. People say our Church is worth going to and that they come away refreshed and strengthened by the music, preaching and fellowship of the people. One word that is often used to describe our services is "casual," enough structure to insure order but coupled with a freedom that most folks tell us they really enjoy. We have an excellent worship team and we also have adults who love to teach our kids Bible stories and God's Truth for their daily journey in life in our children's church (meets during a portion of our regular worship service).
- We're People-Oriented.
Our church wants to serve. The church is not an organizational hierarchy. It is neither a building nor place: the church is people! Some words that describe our people: Friendly, Warm, Open, Honest, Real. It is our desire to continue to raise up a congregation whose young people honor their parents and the Lord. We have a Youth Leader who is committed to helping teens make good decisions. In addition, our committed team of nursery volunteers and Sunday School teachers have as their highest priority to make sure your kids are loved and cared for at every age. We know your children are your greatest investment; New Life desires that they learn the spiritual Truths that God's Word has for our hearts to apply in their lives at every age.
